Hi! I think it is really interresting question. Why are you here? I'm here because I want to be a nurse one day and move somewhere abroud. I want to improve my English skills what can help me in my future plans 🙂

Yes, this should be the first question. My reason is different. I am here because I changed my life. I used to be a workaholic specialist. Recently I created more time to do the things I always wanted to do. (together with new friends, my wife, or alone.) Improving my English skills would help me with that.... and I think it could be fun to do. 🙂

Hi everyone! I just joined penpal and I did it because I find it difficult to approach people in real life and it‘s hard for me to find friends. I think it‘s because I get really nervous all the time. But I thought that I maybe learn how to approach people or just get used to talking to people without feeling like I am being forced or without any type of pressure. I think it‘s necessary to have social interaction for a healthy life and since I struggle with that, I decided to join this site 🙂
Also I am interested in all kinds of cultures from all over the world and I think there is a lot of interesting people here.

I wonder what the reasons of other people here are. It‘s a very interesting question!

I am on penpal-gate since I am interested in finding people to have a conversation with, make contacts and even calls if things go their way!

I have a faschination regarding various dilemmas in society, such as how we humans work, philosophical matters and similar. I enjoy having deep conversations and making connections, and the internet is a suitable place for that.

Being more of an introvert (but not entirely, more of an extroverted introvert) the internet is a good way to make connections at your own pace, and that is amazing indeed.
